New AI Computing Center Opens at Cheju Halla University
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new AI Computing Center at Cheju Halla University, equipped with the latest NVIDIA DGX H100 AI supercomputers. This state-of-the-art facility is set to significantly enhance our capabilities in both AI research and education.
Our new center now boasts two NVIDIA DGX H100 AI supercomputers, complementing our existing infrastructure, which includes a DGX A100, a DGX 1, and several RTX A6000 GPU servers. These additions will provide our researchers and students with unprecedented computational power, enabling them to tackle complex AI challenges and drive innovation in various fields.
I am honored to be in charge of this center and to work alongside my esteemed colleagues. Together, we aim to push the boundaries of AI research and foster an environment of collaborative learning and discovery. This new facility will serve as a hub for interdisciplinary research, supporting projects that range from natural language processing and computer vision to robotics and autonomous systems.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Jeju RIS platform for their generous sponsorship, which made the acquisition of the DGX H100 AI supercomputers possible. Even with these resources, I acknowledge that state-of-the-art models require significant computational power to train and deploy. Therefore, we are committed to continuously expanding our computing capabilities to meet these needs.
In the future, we plan to augment our computing resources further to ensure that our researchers and students have access to the best possible tools for their work. We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to seeing the groundbreaking research that will emerge from our AI Computing Center.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative. We are eager to begin this new chapter in advancing AI research and education at Cheju Halla University.
