Another Streak Ends - Artifact News App Shutting Down
Today marks a bittersweet moment as I reflect on my 365 consecutive days of using Artifact, a news app that I’ve grown to love. It’s an impressive streak, one that I’m proud of, but it’s coming to an end. Artifact has announced that it will continue to operate its core news reading capability only through the end of February.
I’ve been using Artifact for the past year, and it’s become an integral part of my daily routine. The app’s unique approach to curating news stories based on my interests and reading habits has made it stand out from other news aggregators. It’s been a reliable source of information and has helped me stay informed about the world around me.
However, despite its popularity among users like myself, Artifact is going down. The company behind the app has decided to shut it down, leaving many of us searching for alternatives. It’s a sad day for those of us who have come to rely on Artifact as our go-to source for news.
As of now, the app is still working, and I intend to make the most of it until the very end. But the knowledge that it will soon go away is a reminder of how quickly things can change in the world of technology. Apps come and go, and even the most beloved ones can disappear without warning.
Despite this setback, I remain optimistic about the future of news consumption. There are plenty of other apps and platforms out there, and I’m confident that I’ll find a new one to fill the void left by Artifact. In the meantime, I’ll cherish the memories of my 365-day streak and the valuable information I’ve gained from using this wonderful app.
