Things I've Built

I turn visible problems into bounded, measurable systems people can actually use.

How I build

The sequence matters. Make the work legible, define what may happen, delegate in stages, and measure before scaling.

  1. Make the work legible

If a process is not recorded, there is nothing reliable to delegate or improve.

  2. Draw the boundary

Permissions, stop conditions, and human approval are part of the product.

  3. Delegate in steps

Observe, propose, approve, then automate only what has earned trust.

  4. Measure before scale

Speed, quality, and cost decide what ships, what changes, and what stops.

Selected builds

Products and systems that moved from a defined problem into a working, reviewable, and maintained result.

Maru

A local-first desktop workspace for Korean knowledge, documents, and inspectable AI work.

Problem
Knowledge work becomes fragile when files, context, and approvals disappear inside tools that users do not control.
System
Maru keeps the filesystem authoritative, stages protected changes for approval, and records automation as durable evidence.
  • User-owned files remain the source of truth
  • Protected writes are approval staged
  • Signed desktop releases ship across major platforms

Korean Document Toolchain

A cross-platform HWP and HWPX stack built from a clean-room Rust engine and an embeddable editor.

Problem
Korean public-document workflows are difficult to automate reliably outside Hancom Office and Windows-only environments.
System
hwp-cli reads, renders, writes, converts, validates, and AI-edits documents. hwp-editor turns the same engine into a reusable visual surface.
  • No Hancom Office or Windows COM dependency
  • CLI, MCP, server, and editor share one engine contract
  • Public CI and versioned releases

AX Work Platform

A university AI transformation platform that begins with real work instead of a generic chatbot.

Problem
Agent programs fail when the work, owner, source material, risk, and acceptance criteria have not been made explicit.
System
The platform structures work through guided intake, separates workflow and agent opportunities, and turns confirmed needs into training and implementation inputs.
  • Public information and authenticated work journeys are separated
  • Data boundaries and retention rules are enforced in the application
  • Production releases pass browser and database gates

Research Operations Systems

Research and program systems that make versions, evidence, deadlines, permissions, and approvals traceable.

Problem
Operational truth fragments across spreadsheets, messages, documents, and people who remember how the process works.
System
CHU RMS and ANCHOR PMIS turn that hidden process into versioned records, role-bound actions, audit events, and reviewable operational state.
  • Role-bound access and audit trails
  • Versioned operational records and evidence
  • Synthetic demo and regression gates before release

Jeju Election Reporting Center

A public reporting service built with KBS Jeju for the June 3 local election.

Problem
Election reporting had to connect district context, newsroom judgment, and questions from voters without weakening editorial control.
System
The service combined AI-assisted district analysis, public question channels, newsroom publishing controls, and a resilient public delivery surface.
  • Public election information service
  • Editorial control remains with the newsroom
  • Production delivery was verified before launch

AI Learning and Program Platforms

Public platforms that connect departments, regional programs, and international AI training to the people they serve.

Problem
Education and public programs need more than announcements. They need durable places for curriculum, evidence, participation, and continuity.
System
A shared publishing and delivery practice supports departmental education, Jeju RISE programs, and the KOICA-TIU AI Training Center across audiences and languages.
  • Public program and learning surfaces
  • Korean, English, and international delivery
  • Reusable content and deployment patterns

Archive

Earlier tools, focused learning environments, and public program sites that remain part of the work.

Open source

Libraries and tools that make specialized work reusable.

Learning environments

Course sites designed as working environments, not static syllabi.

Programs and organizations

Public homes for companies, workshops, and learning communities.
